KT plate can be divided into cold composite and hot composite from the current mature production process. The products produced by these two different processes are called cold composite plate and hot composite plate.

Cold plate

First of all, the core foaming: the raw material is PS particles, but because the cold plate is mostly single-layer core, so double foaming should be carried out. The first foaming thickness is generally about 3.5mm. After half a month of maturation, the second foaming should be carried out. The core is placed on the equipment and foamed to 5.0-5.2mm or so. After the second foaming, it can be directly coated and bonded.

Then paste the skin: the base material of the skin is PVC, usually 0.08 m-0.1 mm, 0.9 x 2.4 small plates are mostly used 0.08-0.1 mm, 1.2 x 2.4 large plates are generally used 0.16 mm of leather to strengthen the stiffness of the board, because the face is PVC, the core is PS material, so the choice must be neutral glue, glue on the surface and the core at the same time paste each other, paste through the plate hydraulic press (10 tons to 10 tons). Upper) extrusion, more than 24 hours before taking out trimming packaging shipment.

Foaming: Foaming of skin and core, Cause analysis

1. The core ripening period is too short; 2. There is a problem with neutral glue or there is a mistake in gluing; 3. There is direct sunlight or ultraviolet light after forming the board. The common cause of blistering is that the skin is too thin and blistering after direct sunshine. There are few blistering in the realistic picture and the skin. It is very difficult to blister theoretically.

Two. Hot plate

1. PS particles are foamed into 2.5mm-3.0mm core (once foamed) by equipment. At this time, the core is coiled, usually 500 meters. At this time, the core should be stored at room temperature for half a month (maturation period), so that some of the exhaust gas of the core is discharged.

2, veneer

At the same time, two rolls of stretched PS leather and two rolls of ripened core are put on the equipment. Through the die of the equipment, the two rolls are fused and pasted together to form the whole board. The thickness of the skin is about 0.01 M.

3. Whole package

When the veneer board is on the equipment, it is cut into 2.4m long. After cutting, it is trimmed, and the veneer is packed into 0.9 x 2.4.

1. Bubble performance: refers to the photo pictures pasted on the KT board, in a few days, the picture began to arch, forming blisters. The reasons are as follows: 1. The maturation period of the core is short; 2. The PS surface of the surface is too thin; 3. The glue of the back glue of the screen reacts with the PS surface (some glue have this kind of situation).

2. Formation process

Because the ripening period of the core is far more than half a month, half a month is relative, and almost all manufacturers only store for a few days, not half a month at all. At this time, the core is still chemical reaction will produce a lot of gas, plus the PS surface is too thin to prevent the gas from volatilizing outward. Although the picture is smooth after being covered by the surface film machine, there is still gas not exhausted. At this time, the volatile gas of the plate core forms bubbles in the back of the original gas.
